here's another outfit picture from hong kong. bryan took these pictures in the nan lian gardens; it's a huge sprawl of meticulously kept trees, ponds, shrines, temples, and paths right outside of the chi lin nunnery. it's a temple that's primarily run by female buddhist monks, and has several very large gold statues, rock gardens, and temples built based on traditional chinese architecture. there's also a vegetarian restaurant (no eggs, meat, seafood, or alcohol) on the premises; the food there was some of my favorite in hong kong. unfortunately, they didn't allow pictures in the restaurant so i can't share any with you. rest assured, it was tasty!

amazingly enough, avalonne was in hong kong during the same time that i was. she was nice enough to meet up with us in the causeway bay area of hong kong. we had dim sum (where her chinese language skills were extremely helpful) and had some bubble tea. she took us to a sort-of hidden mall, tucked away on the second floor of a unassuming building. is she the cutest or what?
