if you are planning a trip to philadelphia and have questions about where to eat/shop/hang out, don't hesitate to send me an email! i'd be happy to share some of my favorite places with you.
who takes your photographs?
my husband, bryan, takes all of my pictures. i couldn't be more thankful. he didn't know the first thing about taking pictures but has learned so much since i started tick tock vintage. he's the best!
what kind of camera do you use?
i use a canon eos xsi. it was the first present that i bought for myself after i started working my first full time job after college, and i love it. i would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a digital SLR. i usually use my 85mm lens, but also reach for a 50mm lens as well.
how do you edit your pictures?
most of the time, i just use iphoto to crop and straighten the picture. if there's something weird going on with the colors in it, i use photoshop. there's a couple of filters that i like, but i use them very rarely.
what are your tattoos of?
i have birds on my back, soon to be filled in with flowers and leaves and such. i also have a portrait of my oldest dog, louie, on the inside of my left arm.
where do you find most of your clothing?
almost all of my clothing has been thrifted. i go to thrift stores all over the place, from philadelphia to all over new jersey to central pennsylvania to delaware to ohio. whenever i take a trip somewhere, i always google thrift stores in the area. i also like anthropologie (who doesn't?), asos, and discount stores (like century 21, filene's basement, and nordstrom rack).
how do you afford your shoes?
i've gotten some comments wondering how and where i buy my shoes. i'm a huge ebay fanatic and i'm always looking for chloe, marc jacobs, brian atwood, YSL, rachel comey, etc. i've never spent over $100 on a pair of ebay shoes. i'm really the cheapest person ever and always look for discount codes and coupons before i buy anything.
where do you take your pictures?
all over the place. i used to take them in rittenhouse square, which is right in the middle of philadelphia. now i take them in my neighborhood (south philadelphia), usually a couple of houses down from mine. some pictures are from parks and fields, others are from new hope. it really all depends on where we're at!
where can i see pictures of your wedding?
thanks so much for asking! you can see a giant recap of our wedding on this post. feel free to also visit our photographers' flickr pages to see more pictures:

oh, pretty dresses! do you perchance have a vintage shop?
i used to! after 4 years, i decided to close up shop. however, you can also visit my blog shop here.
how tall are you?
i'm only 5'3", which is why i'm usually in some sort of heel or platform.
