so, you probably noticed that my hair is black. though completely unintentional, i don't hate it that much. i'm just hoping that it will wash out much quicker than 28 shampoos.
driving back from new jersey (where we do all of our grocery shopping and errands - you wouldn't believe me if i told you how gross the grocery stores are near our house), bryan and i stopped by the Gloria Dei church for some outfit pictures. it's such a gorgeous place - the church was built in the late 1700's by swedish immigrants. there are huge trees and wrought iron fences and tons of cobblestones.
this weekend was the first weekend in a long time that i went thrifting. i picked up a couple of pairs of ankle boots, some moccasins, a couple of dresses - all which will be in the shop later this week. i'll be making my way out to rural PA this weekend (where i grew up) to hit some flea markets and auctions. i've been searching for a working old typewriter, milk glass, and antique napkins. it is impossible to find a typewriter at a reasonable price. i found one on craigslist for over $400, which certainly is not in my budget.
is there any vintage or antique item that you've been looking for?
