i absolutely love old schoolhouse maps. we have one as our headboard in our bedroom, and i just bought this map off of ebay last week. it's apparently from 1938 (not sure if i actually believe that, i have some researching to do) and is made out of linen or canvas. i really love how worn the bottom is from years and years of being pulled up and down. after rearranging our living room, we had a ridiculous amount of free wall space and i think this map really tied everything together.
