new york cookie.

you know those 1/2 black 1/2 white cookies that new york is famous for? i kind of feel like that in this dress. it's actually the first time i've worn this - i always thought it was a bit too formal for just wearing out and about, because of the little rhinestone straps.

do you have yelp in your city? it just started blowing up in philadelphia, which is really nice if you're a yelp elite. you get "elite" status if you write well-worded, descriptive reviews ("it was good" probably won't cut it). once you're yelp elite, you get invites to free parties and restaurant openings and tastings at some of the best restaurants. this weekend was philadelphia yelp's spring festival, and there was tons of free food and drink to be had. my favorites were the (alcoholic) pink lemonade snow cones, termini brothers cannoli, and the cheese and beer tasting from di bruno brothers and sly fox brewery. jana and i stuffed our faces with sushi and smoothies and pasta, and then spent the afternoon walking around center city (with some rummaging in the anthropologie sale department, of course).
