whoops! i'm a bit late posting today - sorry about that! i usually post in-between meetings in the morning, but i was swamped with work. i also had to send out a bunch of packages for etsy, and finish some homework due tonight. summer sessions at my university are only 6 weeks long, but they fit the same amount of coursework in as the 3 month long classes. as we near the end of the first summer session, the amount of work to do has really intensified. i'm currently only taking one course called "teaching math to children". i always had a lot of trouble with math as a kid, so this class is definitely a struggle for me (for any of you teachers out there, we're learning an inquiry based approach to teaching math - it's very interesting!).
fortunately, a whole bunch 'o good things come with the end of the month. my birthday is next weekend (the big 2-3!), a trip to the beach, and a visit from my grandma (by far the sassiest little lady ever). i'll also be leaving my job, which means much more free time - and with all of the wedding planning and classes, it'll definitely help.
so. enough about my week. anyone have anything good going on? let me live vicariously through your fun things.
ps - i heard that in the navy, the flap-area on the skirt (between the buttons) is called a snack tray. naughty! can anyone confirm/deny?
