dress: forever21, i think. it was super super cheap and i bought it forever ago.
shoes: michael kors

so i think i broke my camera. or rather, my lens.

this makes me incredibly upset because a) i take pictures every single day, and this prohibits me from taking pictures, and b) i saved for awhile to be able to buy this camera. i'm not sure what happened, but my lens won't focus crisply. you can't tell so much in my outfit pictures, because i soften lines and colors anyway, but it's especially noticeable when i'm shooting items for my etsy shop. i have a ton of great stuff that i want to list today, but i'm hesitating posting it because the pictures aren't spot-on. i'm going to take the lens to be fixed tomorrow, and i'm slightly terrified that the bill is going to be a gazillion dollars.

do any of you have a canon EOS rebel XSi? my EF-S 18-55 lens is the one that isn't working. it sometimes gets stuck - the lens won't focus, and i have to wiggle it back and forth a bit to get it un-stuck. bryan did some research and it might the be motor in the lens that's messed up. i'm really not sure what i'm talking about so i'm just going to keep my fingers crossed and hope that it's fixable.

i wore this outfit to a party with bernadette last night. she works with a couple of girls from the UK who were unfamiliar with the concept of a toga party. they were thinking grapes, wine, gold leaves, accessorized togas...not keg stands and nudity and public intoxication. while i didn't dress up (i honestly only have flannel sheets and i'm not about to leave the house in 90 degree weather in flannel), everyone else looked amazing. i've never seen such a gorgeous bunch of greecian inspired ladies.

how's everyone else's weekend going?
