my good friend jon celebrated a birthday yesterday. i'll use anyone's birthday as an excuse to make a cake - this time, it was a four layer chocolate cake with hazelnut chocolate icing and raspberries. it was very rich, and probably better suited for winter-time, but delicious. the next cake on my list is a coconut cake with key-lime icing.
i know this dress looks super short, but fear not - there are shorts underneath. i was thinking about wearing this for my bachelorette party next weekend in NYC (!!) but it's not really fancy enough. i've been checking ASOS daily for something short and glitzy but i think i'm cutting it a bit close with shipping times.
