bryan and i decided to go out to dinner yesterday at a restaurant called le virtu in our neighborhood. if you don't really like meat (i'm not a vegetarian, i just don't really like it), it's hard to find something to order. i guess it's hard to expect many vegetarian options from an italian restaurant, no? i wore this gorgeous dress - a gift from my mom's friend! she gave me a bag of goodies, including pins and purses and jewelry. it's really sheer, so i paired it with a vintage slip from my grandma.
getting back in to the swing of things post-wedding has been pretty difficult. i started student teaching second grade last week, and while i absolutely love it, it's extremely tiring. can you tell by the giant bags under my eyes? i literally don't sit down the entire day except for lunchtime. the kids are really great though, and i'm excited to see how they progress throughout the year. my day starts and ends so much earlier, and i'm not sure what to make of all the free time i have. fitting outfit pictures into the day is going to be a challenge; i leave the house so much earlier than bryan, and he's not to thrilled about waking up extra early. i also have a much more limited wardrobe - nothing short, low-cut, too tight, or remotely scandalous allowed (i'd like to think i didn't really wear much of that to begin with, though). if i have to think twice about wearing something, i put it right back in the closet.
hope your weekend is going well - anything interesting going on?
