one of my little second graders pulled at my belt today while we were in line and looked up with the widest eyes ever and said, "i was just wondering, why do you wear belts everyday? i mean i like it, but i was just curious."
another girl, who is incredibly sassy and hilarious, says to me, "girl, my pants are TIGHT!"
student teaching is fabulous so far.
