i feel very mrs. bunyan in this whole get-up; the plaid, the leather, and the earthy browns scream log-chopping and deer-hunting to me. um, or maybe just making s'mores around a campfire. expected this outfit to look much different in photographs than it actually turned out - it's really ridiculous how what you see in the mirror can differ so much from a picture, no? first off, this skirt is gigantic on me, and i have to tie the built-in belt very tightly to keep up the skirt, which bunches the fabric in a really odd way. i guess the highlight of this outfit are the boots; i ended up purchasing them in amsterdam because i didn't want to ruin any of my leather heels. these are just from h&m, and of course, not genuine leather. but very good at resisting water!

i am so unbelievably excited for my bang-trim today. i haven't gotten my hair cut since the wedding (2 months ago! how times flies) and it's actually starting to hinder my vision.

there's going to be a new feature on tick tock vintage starting this week - probably friday morning. i can't wait to post it!
