cupcakes galore.
i probably haven't mentioned this before, but i'm an obsessive baker. i bake all the time, for birthdays and holidays and, well, anyday. this weekend i tried out pumpkin cupcakes with maple cream-cheese icing for a little dinner party we had with friends. i used the lovely ina garten's recipe (my hero! i love her) and of course, they turned out amazing. i really do believe that using oil instead of butter makes cupcakes more moist and less likely to burn. i snapped a few pictures of them before i dropped the last 6 over to our neighbors so bryan and i wouldn't nibble on them.


i really need to get some new cupcake wrappers. my fancy-schmancy supply ran out and i'm left with the betty crocker ones. i love these red gingham, gold dotted, and blue plaid ones. so cute!
