i was actually very surprised as i was writing my outfit details for this post that so much of my get-up was from H&M; i rarely buy anything from there, as their sizing really doesn't fit my body and i've found that their products fall apart very quickly. however, these have held up surprisingly well, and i've had both of them for about 4 years.
we took these pictures at the headhouse market (you can see more pictures from this location from the lovely heart city vintage). it's right off of south street, a general really crappy bar hangout (which used to be really punky and music-oriented in the 80's). the market is over 250 years old and has the oldest continuously run farmer's market in the united states. the streets are cobblestones and the whole structure is made out of brick. it always surprises me how you'll find the most beautiful little pockets of history or green space in philadelphia, amongst the most touristy awful stores and neon signs.
