One of the things I like about the random boutiques you'll encounter in mostly-residential areas in Hong Kong is how they can be so surprisingly stylish.
Candy Boutique is on Caine Road, of all places, past the Park N' Shop going towards Bonham Road. Restaurants barely stay in business there, and the street is better suited to groceries or shops that cater to household or family needs (such as pet supplies, organic stuff, repair shops, tutorial centres, and so on).
Whoever runs this shop, though, has a really good eye for her clientele. This shop is perfect for a classy professional, a lady -- and I do mean lady -- who isn't a fool for trends but looks for items that suit her figure and are discreetly stylish.
Most items are not cheap and start at HKD1,000. However, they seem well-made, and even a mahjong auntie-in-training like me can appreciate the sensibility and thoughtfulness evident here.
