shorts: forever21
shoes: steve madden
bag: vintage, thrift (1930's, i believe? maybe earlier)
necklace: ollie otson
these photos were taken back in the summer, and i thought i'd finally share them. it's perfect timing, really, since i'm sick (again) and i'm honestly doing you a favor of not posting pictures of myself in my current condition. it's frightening. as soon as i saw this blouse, i knew that i had to photograph it somewhere in the woods; it's so delicate and nymph-like, i thought the lush green surroundings would really emphasize the details. the bag is one of my favorites. the beading is so intricate i'm usually afraid to use it. the necklace was a such an easy choice with this outfit - i love the way the pearls looked against the sheer fabric.
looking back on these pictures made me realize how badly i'd like to move out of my cramped rowhome. oh, to have a wooded backyard with ferns and moss and wildflowers.
