whew! that might be the longest outfit list i've ever done.
the third annual tweed ride went off without a hitch. we all met at waterworks, a giant pavilion looking over the river. as we've done for the past 3 days, we took a large group picture with the nicest bicycles in the front. after that, we took a giant loop around the city; down the parkway, around rittenhouse park, up broad street, around city hall, back down broad street, all the way down pine street, up 5th, and over to penn treaty park. with a group of over 100, this isn't a ride that you can do quickly. i think we rode for about an hour and a half for a relatively short distance. after some lounging and snacking and drinking at penn treaty, we rode over to the memphis taproom for the awards ceremony. i don't have many pictures from this ride - i took over 200 last year, and only about 50 this year, but you can see more in this flickr group.
