this is one of my absolute most favorite vintage dresses in my collection. the collar is removable, and has two layers (one lace, one cotton). the skirt is very full - almost like a square dancing skirt. however, the sleeves on this dress are so. freaking. tight. the top part is almost like a batwing sleeve, but it narrows into the smallest little point that hits right at the top of my forearm. i could barely get my wrists through it, and it ended up cutting off the circulation on my arm all day. the price we pay for pretty dresses, no? i think i'm going to ask my mom to take fabric from the pockets and create little inserts on the bottom of the sleeves so i can actually wear the dress comfortably.
