i am so stressed with all of this last minute christmas shopping/crafting. my goal was to buy handmade or to make everything myself, which is proving to be very difficult since i'm the biggest procrastinator ever and just started working on everything. i'm making my mom a quilt - the first quilt i've ever made - and i think my design is a bit too tricky. i used ceramic paint pens to make my dad a decorated mug with matryoshka dolls and birds and flowers. i'll post pictures as soon as it's fired (you can fire them in your own oven!). i turned to etsy for my sister and bryan's gifts. every year bryan and i make sweets for friends and neighbors, and i think i'm going to make a variety of biscotti this year. he's making homemade limoncello, a liquor made from lemons, sugar syrup, and vodka. so much to do!
