yup, more snow. i love philadelphia covered in snow, it makes the city seem so peaceful (and clean!). unfortunately, it also means that i can't move the car; south philadelphians have this sort of silly tradition of digging out spots and using stolen traffic cones/chairs/milk crates/whatever is in their basement to hold their spot. it's understood that if you dig your car out and block off your spot, it's yours. however, people who aren't from the 'hood (or just jerks) will sometimes move your stuff and grab your spot and then you're stuck circling the block for the better part of an hour looking for a place to park. not fun at all. i'm going to hide out in our living room with hot chocolate and my sewing projects, and prepping for my long-term sub interview (!!) on friday.
