there's a whole bunch in this outfit that i've never worn before. i really don't shop frequently but i feel like i've accumulated so much in the past couple weeks. this is the shawl that i found on our way out to visit my pops last weekend; i'm absolutely enamored with it, and i've been looking for ways to wear it out in the daytime without looking nutty. i found this skirt at the estate sale steph and i went to yesterday. it has the tiniest waist ever and breathing is becoming an issue, but i just love the huge pleats and intricate waistline.
and the shoes. oh, the shoes.
i know they aren't appropriate for winter but i couldn't help wearing them. they're a chocolate-ty brown satin with woven and braided straps. they sort of remind me of a cross between traditional japanese sandals and a toga. right up my alley.
ps: rebecca from the clothes horse asked me to do an interview on her blog; i got to plan my perfect party! you can check it out here.
