Celestial Derma Spa echoes Milford's hometown charm

Dozens of friends, family and dignitaries joined in the festivities and fun at the Jan. 27 ribbon cutting as the Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce welcomed Denise Foucard and her spa team to the ranks of Milford's newest businesses.
Foucard always felt that her hometown Milford was quaint and friendly, home to thousands of people who chose the area because of its charm and quality of life. Those are the same elements that she wanted to present at her business, Celestial Derma Spa, Milford's newest beauty attraction. Celestial Derma Spa is located in the Mill Valley Center next to the historic Henry Ford Falls at 525 North Main Street, Suite 120.
Foucard and co-owner Mike Pilotti grew up in Milford, graduating from Milford High School in 1980. Foucard envisioned a spa in Milford that represented all the key features of the town itself, offering quality services and a friendly atmosphere that matches the client's expectations. The spa's menu includes facials, hair removal, manicures, pedicures, massages, teeth whitening, skin care products and one-of-a-kind jewelry.
Visitors are greeted with a warm smile when they walk in the front door. The staff offers relaxing, first-class services to help calm, relax and melt away stress. Foucard credits Jeff Wright and his team at Wright Renovations for doing their part in bringing her ideas to fruition.
Several services offered at Celestial Derma — not available at any other day spa in town — combine with the staff's special attention to each client's physiology to make the spa unique. HydraFacial is one of the special features offered at the spa that can provide full facial benefits without the wait. Called the “Same Day Bridal Facial,” it's capable of hydrating the skin during the facial, not delaying results — or a bride's entrance to her special ceremony.
Foucard opened the spa with the intention of offering a unique place to relax and get the feeling that concerns truly matter, and to lift one's spirits through private and personal care. Her goal is to make a difference.
The public is invited to celebrate the spa's Grand Opening with music, refreshments, hors d'oeuvres, prizes and special offers on Feb. 10, 5-10 p.m.
