But don't think twice, it's alright.
Good morning friends and lovers of Miss Tick Tock herself, the beautiful Veronika!
Zoë of Haiku Ambulance here on this fine Friday, filling in for the
fabulous,
lovely,
ethereal,
and eloquent Veronika.
So.
Some may have heard me mention on Monday that there was a bit of bad news in the Haiku house.
Well, lucky for TickTock readers, I'm here to share that bad news with you today!
Yayyyyyy bad news!
My mister and I were just notified that we will have to be moving in less than 45 days.
We have absolutely adored and cherished our current apartment that we have called home for two years.
We have a glorious roof-top patio that has nearly become synonymous with my blog, a 360˚ view of both Downtown Denver and the Rocky Mountains, windows on every wall.
We have had front row seats to every fireworks show in the Mile High city since 2009.
Alas, all good things must come to end.
{to make a long story short: the owners of our building are moving back to Denver and would like to live in our unit. They nabbed it in a very short window of us not physically re-signing our lease. It was a very weasely thing to have done...}
Well what now, you may ask?
We will be traveling a very short distance to live in a much more literal, up-close-and-personal version of Downtown Denver.
We will be right there.
In the heart of things both good and bad.
Delicious and stinky.
Convenient and frustrating.
Exciting and scary.
Familiar and unknown.
Lucky for me though, my fella has a very keen eye for spotting silver linings so as sad as it may be, we are truly thankful to have been able to live there as long as we did, and we are genuinely excited to see what the future {and new digs} may bring.
But I will certainly be pouting no-less.
Adieu, view!
Arigato, Veronika!
{stay tuned here tomorrow to see one of my favorite gals guest post, and stay tuned there to see what the new, permanent venue change will be....}
