Krista Ranillo turned emotional as she defended her first baby who was born last April 5.

In an interview with The Buzz on Sunday, Ranillo said she's aware that her son became the target of malicious talk.

Sana, just try to be happpy for us.

"I get really emotional kasi it's hard, parang when you read stuff....I just want to people to be happy for me. At kung wala silang magandang sasabihin sa baby, keep it na lang to themselves, kasi as a mom, masakit talaga," Ranillo said.

There are nasty rumors about who's the real father of the baby.

The sexy actress went to the US after she was linked to People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao, who is married to Jinkee.

Pacquiao and Ranillo were rumored to have had an affair.

It was one of the biggest controversies which rocked the entertainment industry in 2009. Pictures of the two together in Baguio City circulated over TV and the Internet.

Both parties repeatedly denied the speculations they had an affair.

Despite the latest intrigue involving her baby, Ranillo said she's still strong, and she fights her battles with the help and love of her family and her fans.

Salamat sa pagmamahal at suporta and see you soon," she said.

Life changing moment

In the interview, Ranillo, who is married to non-showbiz husband, Jefferson NiƱo Lim, also shared her happiness over her first childbirth last Tuesday at the Northridge Hospital in United States.

Ranillo gave birth to a baby boy named Nick Jacob weighing 6.6 lbs via normal delivery.

Sabi, for a first time mom, swerte pa din ako kasi hindi ako na-caesarian dahil sa laki ng baby. Okay naman daw yung labor and delivery," Ranillo said.

The actress shared she was on cloud nine when she first held her baby.

Iba, it changes your life, yung ganoong klaseng feeling. Gusto ko talaga maging hands-on mom sa kanya," she said.

In August 2010, in an exclusive interview with "The Buzz", Ranillo confirmed that she was pregnant.

Ranillo made the announcement days after she tied the knot with Lim on August 8, 2010 in California.

Krista is the daughter of actor Mat Ranillo III.
