i've had a couple of requests to show how i do my milkmaid braids, so here's my go at it. it's about as easy as sticking your hair in pigtails and braiding them - literally. 'cause that's all you'll be doing. this hairstyle is a great way to disguise a bad hair day, or unwashed hair (so now you know that whenever i wear my hair like this, i haven't washed my hair recently) - much better than just throwing on a hat.
you'll want to be sure that you have those super thin rubber bands to secure the ends of your braids (i use these, you can find them at any pharmacy). i believe they also come in clear, for all you fair-haired ladies.
