you know, as much as i love this blouse i can't for the life of me figure out what to wear it with. i've tried layering it under shift dresses, and tucking it into shorts, but it just seems to love a high-waisted skirt. i've worn it before with bright red tights, but i decided to pair it with this huge suede wrap skirt that i thrifted on wednesday. i didn't plan to add any accessories, but i saw the collar peeking out of a drawer and threw it intp the mix. it's interesting how many natural (except for the pearls, obviously - i only wish) materials are in this: silk, suede, leather, and uh, "pearls". let's pretend they're legit, okay?
thank freakin' goodness it's friday. this week was full of subbing, errands, lesson planning, and job interviews, and i'm ready to relax. any big plans for this weekend? saturday is going to be low-key, but sunday's going to be much more busy. i'm styling a photoshoot and attending brewer's plate (a craft beer and local food festival held at the university of pennsylvania).
