Spring Colours From Nubar - Pink Creme + Caribbean Coral

Pinks and purples are IN this Spring/Summer! I have found two gorgeous shades from Nubar that are my must haves for the sunny season.

 Above: Nubar - Pink Creme
A gorgeous light bubblegum pink that suits every skin tone. Extremely easy to apply and to remove. It also dried in record time which i was very impressed with!

A stunning light purple with pink tones. A little thinner consistency but builds up easily.
What colours will you be wearing this Spring?

China Glaze 'Crackle Glaze' Nail Polish Collection Swatches/Review ~ Amazing!

I received these yesterday and i couldn't be any more amazed with them! They are so fabulous!
China Glaze has just brought out there Crackle Glaze collection, which is an unusual and unique formula which causes the polish to literally crack as it dries. 6 colours to choose from - Black Mesh, Broken Hearted, Cracked Concrete, Crushed Candy, Lightening Bolt + Fault Line.

I am so impressed with this collection, and the best thing is that it's so easy to use! You just swipe it on over a base coat (colour of your choice) then watch the cracks appear.

I did notice that the glossier the nail polish base coat, the better it cracked. I used a China Glaze neon orange under Lightening Bolt and because the neon was a matte polish it hardly made the crackle polish crack.
You can see from this picture the 'crackle' isn't very effective with a matte base. If you use a matte polish, put a top coat over it before applying the crackle.

I love the effect, i love the concept and i love that it takes no time at all! It might not be for everyone but if you like to be a bit different or you love nail art, then these are definitely for you!

It is available in the UK now, i found a website that sells it here: beautychamber.co.uk

What are you thoughts on them?

Nubar Baby Blue - Perfect Chanel RIVA Dupe!

Although pastels aren't usually Winter colours, this year is different. Baby blue is the must have colour this Winter! Many great brands have brought out there own versions. Of course Chanel has the most expensive (Riva) but if you cannot justify spending £22 on a nail polish then i have the answer....Nubar's Baby Blue!

This icy pale 'barely there' blue is beautiful, i love pastels and this is one of the prettiest.
The application is perfect after two coats.

At just £8 it's a must have shade which is perfect for all seasons!

NOTD: Perfectly Peach Nails - Urban Outfitters Nail Polish

Ok so it's actually called Tangerine but to me it's the perfect peach colour! They should definitely re-name it! Strangely enough it is advertised as Tangerine but states Matte Orange on the bottle - confusing! But none-the-less it's a beautiful shade.
It is from Urban Outfitters nail polish range. I had no idea they did nail polish until i was browsing the site the other day.
The colour is amazing - i cannot stop looking at my nails. So pretty and girly.
The application was sheer but built up with 2 coats - 3 coats would have made for a perfect finish.
I love that it dries matte also!
I picked up 3 colours - Matte Orange 4 (Tangerine), Lilac 1 (Mauve) and Mint 1. All are extremely gorgeous pastels.

I am extremely happy with the polishes and the packaging is fabulous, i love the line effects and the rubber top.

I will blog post the rest soon!

Is it just me or is this more of a peach colour?

Nubar 2010 Top Coat Swatches + Review

This top coat is absolutely beautiful - i have so many nail polishes but i have never seen anything like this. I have glittery nail polishes, but this is something different - it has flecks of pearlescent flakes mixed in it. It reminds of that Goldslick vodka with the gold particles. So pretty!
I applied two coats over a french manicure for a stunning but subtle effect. It reflects the light creating a multitude of beautiful colours including pink, green, gold, orange, blue and many more. Almost like the colour of petrol.

All these photos are taken in natural lighting with no flash to get the true colours.

Below i added 4 coats of 2010 over Nubars Peacock Feathers, using a dark colour really sets off the topcoat making it even more amazing in my opinion! Even after applying 4 coats it dried quickly and built up nicely.

Depending on the angle and lighting the topcoat changes colour.

Below i applied two coats over Chanel 527 - i really loved the effect it created.

This topcoat is a must have! I know it has already sold out on the website but has just been re-stocked, so i would highly recommend getting your 'claws' on it now :)

NOTD: Pink Punk Nails

Starting off with Punk Polish by Eyeko - this is a one coat wonder! It looks gorgeous and if you're in a rush to paint your nails then this is the perfect polish :)

....Then i added pink glitter tips using Eyeko ChiChi polish - this gives a lovely effect although the glitter was a little 'misty'. I love how it looks - but make sure you leave plenty of time for ChiChi to dry!

Nail polishes from: www.eyeko.com - you can also use code E8249 on checkout for a free gift with every purchase :)

Hope you like!

Fruit Salad Nails - Fruity Manicure!

These nails are so OTT but i love them! They kind of remind me of Pimms on hot summers day :)
They are pretty simple to do, but a little time consuming! These definitely aren't everyday nails but it's great to do if you want the Wow factor!

All you need is:
Nail polish colour of your choice
False nail glue
Fimo fruit slices

 Directions:
♥ Apply a base coat, then two coats of your colour choice (wait for each coat to dry before applying the next).
♥ Apply a generous amount of false nail glue on your nail tips, leave to become 'tacky' for a few seconds then start applying your fruit slices. The fruit slices should already come sliced, but you can get them in tubes and slice them yourself if you prefer.
♥ Keep gently pressing the fruit slices down onto your nail so they don't stick up too much on the sides.
♥ Then you can choose to apply a top coat.

Extremely easy and I'm sure there are endless possibilities to what design you could use!
I picked up my fimo slices from ebay - a seller in Hong Kong was selling 200pc for 65p inc shipping!! So cheap. Here is the link: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/shunshineseller
